For expectant parents there seems to be an infinite amount of information out there and it can sometimes be difficult to get a clear answer! Everyone has their own opinion about what is best, what is right and what makes you a terrible parent. The truth of the matter is that each baby, Birthing person and family is unique in its needs and traditions. What works for one family won’t work for another...

Birth Services:

During the birth itself I will help by providing relaxation coaching, massage, support to both birther and partner, a calming presence and a stand-by encyclopedia of information in case changes to the plan occur. I will do everything I can to help you stick to your birth plan, but birth (and babies!) can be unpredictable, so I will be on hand to help you make informed decisions as circumstances arise…

Postpartum Services:

You’ve given birth and now you are cleared to take your new baby home! Now what? Women are treated with reverence and respect when they are growing a child, but once the baby is born it’s common to feel a bit abandoned. Normal care means that you won't see a doctor for 6 weeks after your baby is born and most of us are left with questions and insecurities about what is normal and abnormal in the healing process…

Infertility is extremely prevalent and common, yet as a society we are uninformed about how best to support couples and singles during this time. I recognize that this time can be one of the most stressful and painful times in your life and I do all I can to ease that burden.
